Who is this retreat for?

This is for the woman who is feeling overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or looking to further their healing. We invite all women who are ages 18+ and identify as Black, Indiginious, Women Of Color.  Healing is multifaceted, and while some of the work is done individually, communal healing is a powerful practice that dates back to our ancestors. 
 
No matter where you are in your healing journey, this is an opportunity to actively prioritize and pour back into yourself, so you can be the best version of you. If you are seeking rest and relaxation, join us!

Please note: the retreat center requires daily walking and the use of stairs, so a level of comfort with movement and light physical activity is encouraged.

I'm not in great shape - can I still come?

Absolutely! This retreat is designed for ALL fitness levels. Yoga is gentle and can be modified. Cultural activities involve walking. Everything is optional. Come as you are.

What can I expect from this retreat?

Our retreats are thoughtfully planned out so that you can reconnect, renew, reset, and connect with like minded women. Wellness hasn’t always looked like us and we are committed to creating a culturally affirming space where you can be you. We see you!  After the retreat, you will feel affirmed that you are not alone and that your wellbeing matters. You will also walk away with tools you can start implementing to maintain self-care habits.

Is Guatemala safe?

Antigua is one of the safest cities in Central America and a popular destination for wellness retreats. We have ground transportation arranged, stay in a secure retreat center, and have experienced local guides. You'll feel taken care of every step of the way.

Question 5

How do I get there?

Accepted Answer

For the fastest flight, we recommend flying into La Aurora International Airport (GUA), in Guatemala City. Once at the Airport, our van and driver are waiting for you! The drive to the space will take approx. 60 min.

Question 6

Can I share a room with someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you’re booking solo, you’ll have the option to share a room with another participant. Many women choose this option as a way to save on costs and to connect with someone new during the retreat. We do our best to thoughtfully pair roommates, and many past participants have left with not only a beautiful retreat experience, but also a new friend. If you prefer not to share accommodations, during one of our retreats, you may choose a single occupancy room.

What if I can't or prefer not to participate in an activity?

We are all about listening to our body and mind! Everything is optional, and we highly encourage you to take it slow whenever you feel like you need to. If you would like to replace certain experiences with others, please let us know.  An extra fee may apply!

I've never been on a retreat - will I feel awkward?

Our retreats attract first-timers and retreat veterans alike. The magic is in how quickly our group bonds. Within 24 hours, you'll feel like you've known these women forever. We create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone belongs.

What if I change my mind?

All trips may be canceled for a full refund, without deposit, by November 7th, 2025. All other cancellations after that date will be NON-REFUNDABLE.

The intention of the application is to assist us in gaining a deeper understanding of your needs prior to you making any financial investment.

Can I come if I don't know anyone?

Most people come solo! That's actually the beauty of it - you're meeting new soul sisters who become lifelong connections.
