Wellness Retreats for Women of Color, Held by Licensed Clinicians
You've been everyone's safe place. Let us be yours.
be Morr offers healing retreats for women of color who are tired of carrying it all. Our retreats are rest, sisterhood, and real care, hosted by two licensed clinical social workers who know what it costs to hold everything together.

Our Story: How be Morr Retreats Began
We're Roslyn + Regine, licensed clinical social workers and the co-founders of Be Morr Counseling in New York City.
In the summer of 2020, we watched the women of color on the front lines of the pandemic carry an impossible weight: the stress, the isolation, the exhaustion of caring for everyone while no one cared for them. So in August 2020, we did something about it. We hosted our very first retreat: one day, at a lake house, for women of color who'd been holding everyone else together, especially our first responders and essential workers.
We couldn't have done it alone. Our community showed up in ways we never expected. Someone offered the lake house. Others led workshops. Loved ones stepped into whatever role was needed to make the day feel special.
Within the first hour, one woman burst into tears. She shared how deeply the isolation had worn on her, and how much joy she felt for choosing to come. In that moment, we knew this work mattered.
What began as one day by a lake has grown into Be Morr retreats: seven seasons of creating space for women of color to put it all down, be cared for, and come home to themselves.

Why a Therapist-Led Retreat Feels Different
Most retreats offer a beautiful setting. We offer that, plus something deeper: you're held by clinicians.
Every circle is thoughtfully designed, it's safe to go as deep as you're ready to go, and when something tender comes up, you won't carry it alone. For women navigating burnout, that care makes all the difference. You don't have to perform "I'm fine" here. You get to just be.
Our retreats are therapeutic experiences, not therapy.
Meet Your Retreat Hosts
Roslyn Guzman, LCSW
Roslyn knows what it's like to be "the dependable one," the woman who always shows up, and to smile through something that's quietly breaking you open. A perinatal mental health certified therapist, she gives women permission to say the true things out loud, rewrite the stories they inherited, and reconnect with their bodies. She believes you can honor your lineage and do things differently.

Regine Palmer, LCSW
Regine has spent 16 years walking alongside women of color, especially first-generation women carrying the mother wound, the pressure of being "the strong one," and the exhaustion of rescuing everyone but themselves. Trained in EMDR, she helps women heal what's been keeping them stuck, in body and mind. Nothing lights her up more than watching a woman move from stuck to free.
